FOOD BANK

A Practical Helps program that fights hunger by distributing food to those in need.

Participants personally select groceries & household items at no cost.   Our food bank has been recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s top 10 food banks & used as a model for other food banks in the area.

To join, come to any distribution day (twice a month) & our friendly staff will assist you.

Criteria:
Live in Shaler, McCandless, Ross, Allison Park, Glenshaw, or Hampton
Household income 150% or lower of federal poverty guidelines ($33,075 for family of 4)

Fees:
NONE!

Allison Park Crosstown Gym

Hours:
Twice a month on Tuesdays, 11:30 am -3:30 pm

Support this program:
We accept donations of household supplies (paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc.)  & finances.
