RUNNING START BACK-TO-SCHOOL PROGRAM

Every August, as part of our Youth Enrichment efforts, students in elementary school receive backpacks filled with school supplies.  This happens during a fun, free & family-focused community block party.

The block party consists of games, activities, prizes, music and food.  At the conclusion of the party,  students receive their backpack.  Every year, we help over 1,000 students get a “Running Start” to their school year.

Reside in service location (see list below)
Families facing financial hardship
